Terms & safety

Toronto.bid hosts project and service listings and introductions. Members negotiate and arrange their own work, contracts and payments. Using the site is free.

We do not verify identity, qualifications, licences, insurance or completed work, and do not guarantee members or outcomes. A selection records interest in further discussion, not an awarded contract.

Use the board responsibly

Post accurate information and only content you have permission to use. Scams, impersonation, unlawful work, harassment, misleading credentials and spam are prohibited. We may review reports, hide content or restrict accounts.

Before work begins

Check qualifications appropriate to the task. Confirm scope, materials, price, timing and payment terms in writing. Avoid sharing sensitive documents or paying because of pressure. Use the report controls for suspicious activity.
